Chile to Host Second Latin American Congress of e-Commerce, Mobile, Online Marketing, Software and Technology

Santiago, Chile.
It is difficult to think of an industry where digital doesn’t play an important role. This is reflected in Latin America’s exponential growth in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), internet-based digital applications that enable the optimization of companies’ administration, sales and marketing processes.

Chile is the Latin American leader for global services in digital marketing and technology and 7th internationally. For these reasons, Chile was chosen to host Latin America’s largest event for Digital Marketing, e-Commerce, Internet, Mobile, Software and Technology, which will take place July 8 & 9, 2015 in Santiago.

The Latin American Congress Chile Digital aims to spark the growth of internet-based businesses and connect Latin American companies and executives with the world of digital technology.

More than 5000 attendees are expected for the event, which includes the International Seminar and Conferences; the Digital Expo, which will bring together more than 200 companies from 22 countries in the areas of digital marketing, e-commerce, entrepreneurship and technology; the Business Meetings Session, with more than 800 meetings scheduled; and, most anticipated by the region’s entrepreneurs and investors—the Venture Capital Forum—where experts will speak about the development of Latin America’s venture capital sector, and will be presented with 16 pre-selected high-impact investment opportunities.

Lesley Robles, director of the Latin American Congress Chile Digital 2015, emphasized the great opportunity that the Congress offers for the development of these industries. For this reason he has initiated an international tour to events such as the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, SXSW in Austin, CEBit Hannover in Germany, BITs in Brazil, EXPO TIC in Peru, among others, with the goal of bringing the world’s speakers and tech companies to the event.
